Code of Conduct

At Spark Africa, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees of the Africa Startup Festival. As such, we have developed the following code of conduct, inspired by the content in the link you provided:

Respect Others: We expect all participants to treat each other with respect and professionalism, regardless of their background, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal characteristic.

Zero Tolerance for Harassment: We have a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment of any kind, including but not limited to physical or verbal abuse, stalking, intimidation, and unwanted advances. Any form of harassment will not be tolerated, and appropriate action will be taken.

Inclusivity: We believe in creating an inclusive environment that promotes diversity and encourages participation from everyone. We expect participants to be mindful of this and to contribute to creating an environment that is welcoming to all.

No Discrimination: Discrimination based on any personal characteristic is strictly prohibited, and we expect all participants to refrain from any discriminatory behavior.

Respect for Privacy: We expect all participants to respect the privacy of others and to refrain from sharing personal information without their consent.

Compliance with Laws: All participants are expected to comply with the laws of the host country, as well as any other relevant laws that may apply to the event.

Reporting: If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this code of conduct, please report it immediately to the event organizers, who will take appropriate action.

By attending the Africa Startup Festival, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. We reserve the right to take appropriate action, including expulsion from the event, in response to any violation of this code of conduct.
